Follow My Book Blog Friday is a weekley feature hosted by Parajunkee's View.
This weeks question is:
Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...
- I love being barefeet. If I could walk barefooted.. (Is that a word?) in the winter time without getting frost bitten I would!
- I can't dance. I can do the John Wall and that's about it (:
- Whenever I get happy I raise my hands to my face and hop up and down. It's very embarrassing in school where cute boys are around.
- I could eat spaghetti seven days a week. I don't think there is anything better in the whole entire world that is better. . . except for chocolate!
The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy For Books. The question this week is:
"If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?"
My Answer: I would spend a day in The Christy Miller Collection books. I would love to be with Todd who is soooo dreamy and Doug who is hilarious and lovable. I really want one of his huge hugs! And of course being with Christy and Tracy because they are so nice and close to God. I think spending a day in California on the beach learning to surf would be fantastic!
What book would you spend a day in?
I’ve seen a lot of great picks and gathered some fresh titles to add to my ever-growing TBR list. My answer will probably stun most people because the world I picked is a place most people would be scared to death of and try to escape from. Me? I want in.

Hopping by to visit and follow! Oh, I haven't met any other bloggers who have read the Christy Miller series! They were my favorite YA stories when I was 14, and reading about Todd, Christy, Doug, Tracy and the others was like reading about long-distance friends. :-)
ReplyDeleteHopping through. New follower! I love my mother's spaghetti more than anything, even though it's only ground beef in Ragu with spaghetti seasoning.

Hey,
ReplyDeleteI really love daisies, so I'm loving your background. I also noticed that two of your picks up there (Before I Fall--have read--and Rot and Ruin--am currently reading) are two books I've really enjoyed! Thanks for visiting my blog, and I signed up as a follower :)

P.S. What ever is the John Wall???
I haven't read the Christy Miller collection but cute and dreamy boys are always a plus right? Hopping through on the hop returning the blog love. New follower! Have a great weekend!

Ha! Thank for explaining the John Wall to me (checked it out on youtube :)) That's got to be the funniest thing since the harlem shake! I'm more of a tootsie roll girl myself, but I'm glad I now know what it is. Thanks for educating me!

Yay for Christy Miller! I haven't read those since high school, but I DEVOURED them then. Now I wanna re-read them. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to be in my bare feet, too! It's a pain - literally - since I'm always stepping on things and stubbing my toes, but shoes just feel so confining, you know?
ReplyDeleteGlad to have found you via the Hop!
Just hopping by to say hi. Love the site, Katie. Well done. I love the John Wall dance btw. It's one of the few dances I can do.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome blog! I just love it (my only suggestion would be to mak eyour grab button smaller) I honestly love it!!
ReplyDeleteI cam't dace AT ALL! lol and at home I am ALWAYS barefoot :D
- Kylie
Hi, just hopping on by. I don't know about going barefoot but I'd go year round in flip flops if it didn't get so cold here!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the mood for spaghetti now! Thankfully I have what I need to make it. And I can't stand to be completely barefoot. I have some slip on shoes I wear in the house, but without socks. Thanks for stopping by! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by everyone! (: I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteTo Kylie 1403, I took your suggestion into considerations and through lots of frustration I was finally able to make a new button. Hope you like it!
I just realized I only wrote 4 habits about myself! So I guess my number five habit is that I have about a hundred different thoughts running through my mind at any particular moment and I'm always jumping from one idea to the next.
ReplyDeleteSo, in cases like this that means I skip details(;
